What publication has just released a story about how a group of scientists are attempting an experiment that may create a black hole which could destroy earth and possibly the universe?

Is it:

a) Ultimate Spider Man?
b) The National Inquirer?
c) Maxim Magazine?

"…two men pursuing a lawsuit in federal court in Hawaii turn out to be right. They think a giant particle accelerator that will begin smashing protons together outside Geneva this summer might produce a black hole or something else that will spell the end of the Earth — and maybe the universe.

Scientists say that is very unlikely — though they have done some checking just to make sure."

How reassuring…

Yeah, Wired featured this a few years ago, among a list of several dozen ways the world might end. Personally, I'm okay with this not being in U.S. hands anymore, for the simple reason that nobody has cornered the market on premillenial dispensationalists the way we have. Nobody.
